Details: When Liveli Studios had a vision, they had a grand vision. Their newly renovated space was once a woodworkers garage shop. This weathered oil stained space had drywall falling off the walls and an old duct system that needed immediate renovations. The Building Dreams Contracting team took our renovations and restorations project in Dundas and turned it into something spectacular. This commercial space has been completely renovated and updated from its original woodworking garage shop days. With less than 3 weeks to complete this remodeling construction project, the BDC team had their work cut out for them. As you can see from the photos, everything came together nicely.

During the construction design of the studio we’ve upgraded the following: Framing, new spiral duct, drywall secured and patched, paint throughout, electrical, polished concrete floors, millwork, premium sound system, TV, plumbing for a new kitchenette, kitchenette equipped with sink, fridge and a microwave venting system. By the end, this remodel was a whole new space for a whole new business in the thriving Dundas community.

We just wrapped up a job for Mike and Grant! I can’t say enough how incredibly organized they were with the process from start to finish. They made it really easy to complete all of the work we were assigned to do for them! They’re on top of everything and stay 2 steps ahead of all tasks! Building Dreams Contracting was a great choice for our large renovation job. They are modern and organized in how they manage the project, and communications are simple and frequent.Mike and his team were very trustworthy, helpful and resourceful on the onset of the project and throughout. Deciding on layouts, materials to use, the overall design, and vendors to purchase from was all very easy and speedy with a lot of great advice. The entire team were respectful and willing to listen anytime.We had our entire second floor remodeled. This included two bathroom renovations with a new shower, tub, vanities, and even a new sauna put in the primary bathroom. We had new engineered hardwood throughout and tile floors in the bathrooms (with heated floors in the primary bathroom too!). We also had the staircase overhauled with new railings and the stairs made to match the stain of the new hardwood floors. All bedrooms were re-done with fresh paint, new light fixtures, trim and doors (and new pocket doors for the primary bedroom walk in closet!).We are very happy with the work done. The entire floor is so much brighter and well-designed. We had a great experience with Building Dreams Contracting and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. Highly recommended.

As avid DIYers we knew our flooring, lighting and kitchen project was going to be beyond our time and abilities. After meeting with over 10 contractors, then meeting Moe and Liam from BDC, we knew they were going to be the best fit to complete our project, from their friendly and honest approach. Moe and Liam took the time to make sure we were comfortable with every detail from before we started the project until the end. The time and organization Moe put into our project to ensure we had a schedule, timelines were met was more than we could have expected. His response time, and ability to provide support during this project is what made this Reno a success. With Liam around, we knew our house was in good hands. A true Jack of all trades, Liam took care of every detail and had the foresight during the entire project to ensure each step was done right. Mitch was a dream to have on site, a contractor who put in endless hours and paid attention to details in all the work he did. He was trustworthy, honest and always ensured the worksite was kept clean and in order, regardless of how long the days may have been. The entire Building Dreams team was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish.We renovated our entire main floor and moved the kitchen from one side of the house to the other, removing a wall and creating an open-concept dream layout.Mike Valchuk was extremely helpful not only in the initial design, but throughout the renovation from end-to-end. We entrusted him with the keys to our home while we travelled for 3 weeks, and came home to an amazing transformation. His level of communication was outstanding while we picked floor colours remotely through video chat, and he was quick to always answer any questions we had in a timely manner.Upon returning from our vacation, there were only a few tasks left to finish the entire project. Mitch was an absolute pleasure to have in our home as he finished off these odds and ends. Great communication, open to any and all suggestions that we had, and overall made the final stages of the project a great success.The quality of workmanship was flawless, the level of details used in some of the trim work, cabinetry and kitchen is just incredible, and we could not be happier with the result.I also want to mention the painter that Building Dreams used, Igor from Custom Touch Painting. His skill level was impeccable, and we have already used him to help finish off our nursery for our first child that we are expecting in April.We had 18 people here for Thanksgiving dinner (pictures attached) and everyone was blown away by the transformation.In summary, we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor and team to work with as we completed the largest investment we will ever make in our home. Building Dreams was easy to work with from start to finish. We did a main floor renovation as well as new doors and trim in the entire house. Mike is very personable and not only understood our vision, but improved upon it with his attention to detail. The whole team is very professional and precise in their workmanship. After waiting for over a year to engage the right contractor who I felt confident would do a great job, based on a recommendation, I finally chose Building Dreams. I was not disappointed. Building Dreams totally exceeded my expectations with the remodelling of my bathroom and upgraded fireplace. The team and the process was very professional and collaborative and it was a pleasure to work with Liam and Mitch. They made sure that I was involved in every step of the process and were very customer focused. I can't say enough about their creativity, quality of work and perfectionism. Grant and Mike from Building Dreams Contracting took our main floor renovation from start to finish. I wasn’t entirely sure where to start but I knew I wanted an open concept living area and a new kitchen. These two were able to help me throughout the process, making suggestions on where to spend and where to hold back in order stay on budget. The kitchen is beautiful and so functional. I was able to get drawer organizers, easy pull out garbage and recycling storage and built in microwave that I love. I’d recommend the team at Building Dreams Contracting to anyone.
